Zagreb Film Festival started the International film festival for children – KinoKino. The inspiration for the creation of the festival was the city cinema as a multi-functional space where, aside from the cinemas, all the spaces can be used as places of learning, socializing, talking, exchanging impressions and having fun. By creating a special and different feel of going to the cinema, our wish is to influence the creation of new generations of cinema audiences. KinoKino’s program consists of most important recent films for children from around the world, and their universal message is how everyone has a right to their own place in the world, no matter their origin or conditions.
