The Italian Trade Agency in Zagreb, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Croatia, the Italian Cultural Institute and the ZFF Industry, is organizing a panel entitled Spotlight Italy, in which experts from the Italian film industry will present the audiovisual system and extremely valuable minority co-production schemes, as well as the co-production forum When East Meets West and the co-development funding scheme and workshops RE-ACT, in order to strengthen the collaboration and the existing links between the respective Italian and Croatian audiovisual industries.

Maria Giuseppina Troccoli

Head of the Cinema and Audiovisual Department of the Italian Ministry of Culture. She has carried out the activities related to the implementation of the new state aid supports, namely, selective schemes for production of film and audiovisual works, fiscal incentives, distribution and exhibitions. She is a member of the evaluation committee of all the existing bilateral co-development funds and the Italian representative on the IBERMEDIA Board. Her international activities include collaboration on creating and renewing co-production agreements.

Roberto Stabile

Head of the ANICA International Department & ITA Audiovisual Desks Coordinator. He has set up a network of information and representative desks in the major world markets for international audiovisual industry relations with Italy and has improved the relationships with international institutions. He is the coordinator of the China project, together with ITA and DGCA MiC, with the aim of promoting dialogue and cooperation between the Chinese and Italian film industries.

Alessandro Gropplero



Head of international relations of the FVG Audiovisual Fund since 2007. In this capacity, he has planned the international strategy of the fund and managed a variety of initiatives, such as When East Meets West Co-Production Forum, Ties That Bind Asia Europe Producers Workshop and RE-ACT Co-development Funding Scheme. He is an EAVE graduate, Italian national coordinator and board member of Eurodoc, member of the EFA and a member of the programming team of the Venice International Film Critics’ Week.

Chris Marcich

Chris spent 16 years working for the government of the United States. There, he worked as a negotiator on international trade issues and helped shape the U. S. trade policy. He was the Assistant U. S. Trade Representative for Europe, responsible for trade relations within the region. From 1995 until 2016, he served as president and international business coordinator for the Motion Picture Association (MPA). Since 2013, he has been President of the Executive Board of AGICOA, the association of audiovisual producers and their collective rights management groups. In 2019, he was appointed as the CEO of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC).

Ines Vasiljević

Graduated in Fine Arts, Music and Drama from the University of Turin and in Production from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, where she now teaches film production. She has worked for the Oscar-winning Indigo Film and Groenlandia Group, among others. Ines co-founded the Nightswim production company. Her filmography includes the titles LikeMeBack (2018, Locarno FF), Una Relazione (2021, Venice Days), La ragazza ha volato( 2021, Venice IFF, Orizzonti Extra). She is a member of the EFA.

Vanja Jambrović



She graduated in comparative literature and philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities in Zagreb and in production at the Academy of Dramatic Art, where she now teaches. She works as a film producer at Restart. Her films have screened at Hot Docs, IDFA, DokLeipzig, FidMarseille, etc. She produced Nebojša Slijepčević’s film Srbenka (2018), which was included in the 15 best documentaries selected by EFA and won the Doc Alliance Award. She has participated in workshops RE-ACT, EAVE, Producers on the Move, Emerging Producers and Eurodoc.

Tina Hajon

She holds a master’s degree in AV production from Roma Tre University and has completed professional training programs EAVE and CICAE. She was a board member of Europa Cinemas. She headed the strategic national program of the Ministry of Culture and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, for the digitization of Croatian independent exhibitors, which served as the basis for establishing the Croatian Independent Cinemas Network. For the last 15 years, she has held leading positions in the organization of the Sarajevo FF. She is the creative producer of Italian-Croatian film The Lions of Lissa by Nicolò Bongiorno.
