Ivan Bogdanov
Ivan Bogdanov was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy of Art and Design in Rotterdam. In 2008, together with Vessela Dantcheva he co-founded the production company Compote Collective based in Sofia and they have realized many short animated films and commercial projects. He works as an animated film director, illustrator and comic artist. He is the author of several award-winning films, including Father (2012) and Anna Blume (2009).
