A documentary about Aleksi, a man who became aware of his pedophile tendencies during college. In the film he breaks a decade-long silence and shares his experience of living with a sexuality that has made him an outcast. The film premiered at IDFA in 2020.

Saara Hakkarainen

A student of documentary film at the Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture. She works as a director, screenwriter and producer, as well as a nurse. She is also involved in performance arts. Silence is her BA-graduation film that had its world premiere at IDFA in 2020.
