Norwegian director Joachim Trier’s (Oslo, August 31st – ZFF 2011; Louder Than Bombs – ZFF 2015; Thelma – ZFF 2017) latest film is an insightful dramedy about the search for love and meaning in contemporary Oslo. Julie is turning thirty and her life is in disarray. She has neglected her talents and the relationship with the older, successful Aksel no longer fulfils her. When she meets the young and charming Eivind, she breaks up with Axel and surrenders to the new relationship to breathe new life into her stagnant existence. But, for some decisions in life, it is too late after all.
