A woman wakes up on a beach wrapped in plastic, half-naked and wearing high heels. “Not again,” she sighs and decides to find out who is behind this. She persuades an older woman pushed to society’ margins to accompany her on her revenge crusade. On their journey across classic cinematic landscapes, the two women have to face their own desires, generational conflicts and their fragile ideologies.

Kaksi ruumista rannalla
Finnish director, writer and actor. After several prestigious theatre, film and TV roles, she moved to Sweden to study at the Stockholms Filmskola. She wrote and directed the monologue play, Play Rape, in which she also starred, about the problem of normalization of rape scenes in contemporary Finnish theatre. The play was met with thrilling reviews and given extensive attention in the media. It is translated into several languages.
