Find out more
Nina and Jan are a wealthy couple who own a successful advertising agency and have two children. However, Nina is bitter about Jan taking all the credit at work and making decisions behind her back. To escape the stress, the family takes a seaside holiday. The peaceful idyll takes a dark turn when somebody breaks into their house and steals their son’s pet Zorro. Shaken, the spouses initially get closer, until a police investigation reveals inconsistencies in their stories. Human Factors (Sundance, Berlinale) is a piercing study of one family’s decay, told as an intriguing game of cat and mouse.
