Jonatan, also known as MC Xerelete, dreams of becoming a famous funk singer and, consequently, making a comfortable life for himself and his father the kind he sees in the media. Until then, the father and son work as fishermen in Guanabara Bay. Together, they face the responsibilities and obstacles life throws at them. The film received Special Mention in Clermont-Ferrand.

Victor Quintanilha
Holds a degree in Cinema from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He specialized in sound at the International School of Film and TV (EICTV). Since 2015, he has worked as sound editor on 32 feature films, including Bacurau (2019) by Kléber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, the award-winning Liquid Truth (2017) by Carolina Jabor, and Gabriel and the Mountain (2017) by Fellipe Barbosa.
