The adventures of four convicts who were given fourteen days of freedom on the basis of good conduct, and their attempts to adapt in rather changed environment. As the day of the return to prison approaches, their lives get more complicated. The Fourteenth Day Zdravko Velimirović’s first feature, and it was screened as part of the main competition in Cannes where it was praised by the jury as well as the audience. The script was written by the director’s close friend Boris Pekić, a former prisoner himself.
