Young Youri lives in Cité Gagarine, a huge housing project on the outskirts of Paris, and dreams of becoming an astronaut. As the building is scheduled for demolition, Youri and his friends decide to transform it into a spaceship before it is flares out of existence. This cheerful social drama, imbued with magical realism, is a nostalgic dedication to Cité Gagarine, a utopian collective housing project the opening of which was attended in 1963 by Yuri Gagarin himself. The film was part of the Cannes 2020 Official Selection, while the cast includes charismatic Denis Lavant (Beau travail, Holy Motors).
